Stop all false and misleading ads on television
The drug food Diet Industries are taking over american TV must be stopped
Paul deSousa commented
Drug ads are required to disclose potential side effects -- verbally in writing and/or print. But the rules are silent on the visual aspects of this issue. Its rediculous to think that grave disclosures spoken over happy, cheerful images portraying the benefits serve as any kind of real warning. If a drug has a side effect of vomiting, we should see some vomiting. The current approach has the effect of minimizing and thus misrepresenting the strong impacts of some of these drugs.
