  2. Add debt collectors to do not call rules.

I have gotten several calls over the last few years from bedt collectors for people I don't know. They continue to call even after I tell them to stop calling. One called me five times in six minutes. Most of them have violated Federal and State laws in some way. I try to file complaints and get the run around. the FCC is part of the debt collection law right?. If a complaint is filed in the wrong place how about it being forwarded to the correct place even if it is with another agency.

  3. FCC Lighten up

Filtering shows we watch every day so there is no swearing or any bad content in it. If you look at japan's shows in there original language with English sub titles compared to American dubbed versions they tell almost completely different stories. Parents should control if they allow their kid to watch shows with swearing violence and nudity. I do believe you should just make it so there can't be a certain amount of all that.

  4. Prepare for the jury trial in (5:09-cv-05151) because of pending motion to add the FCC.

The wire communications are not being regulated as is required by the Communications Act and lets quit calling the evolution of the telegraph the Internet to simply sell ***********.

  5. Enforce 27 Mhz CB Radio regulations

Many of the comments listed here regarding CB radios could be taken care of if the FCC would just enforce the existing regulations.
Some that are ignored frequently -
4 watt maximum power output. You do realize that anyone can walk in off the street to just about any CB shop and buy a 1000 watt 'kicker'?
No tampering with CB radio internals - ignored by every CB shop in the country
CB shops advertising their services every 5 minutes on channel 19? Also banned by regulations
Foul-mouthed trash talking? Banned by regulations already
    Long-winded preachers who can't get air…

  6. Stop Regulating Content

The FCC is not allowed to regulate content of programming. So stop it! It's a waste of time, and it's frightening in it's implications!

  8. Drop the draconian, Cold War restrictions on HF broadcast stations

The hoary, unenforced and inefficient rules in 73.788(a) through (d) limit innovation and raise barriers to entry. Drop the excessive minimum power rules and the command-and-control restrictions on content and audience.

  10. add a simple API to access the FCC database so custom applications can be written easily

This would allow people to create more useful websites and services that alert engineers when actions are taking place in specific areas or with their filings. Reducing the need for the daily digest and requirements to download a new FCC database every day to keep current. Saves bandwidth on both ends and updates are faster.

  11. create a wiki style rules site with examples and clarification editing by non-FCC employees

This would be monitored by the FCC for clarification but created by people who use the rules everyday so its in plain English. It wouldn't be official but could point to the official rules for compliance reasons.

  12. How did Apple get so much Control, to restrict Flash based Technologies over the Internet?

    • Apple has control over how, and in what way we use our Internet! I have comcast cable currently, as my ISP, that I pay good money for. Apple has no rights, to control the way I access my comcast Internet! Apple will not allow many formats, such as Flash, that are what make the Internet great! When you buy an iPad, or iPhone, from Apple, their should be no restrictions! Especially, if we are paying our Internet Service Providers. We all pay good money for our Internet Experience, and these stupid restrictions violate our Freedom of Communication! If I am…

  13. Stop TV censorship.

Why is America one of the few western Countries that censors so much of it's broadcast media? I feel that if censorship was stopped or restricted then the FCC will have more resources available to peruse better opportunities.

  14. allow low power FM radio stations

LPFM is the future of radio, and it is unconstitutional to restrict them (refer to the right of speech)

  15. Start tracking the status of petitions

At the FCBA/ETPC lunch on 1/14 it became clear that not only the public was kept in the dark about petitions gathering dust in the Secretary's Office but that even the 8th Floor advisers don't know about petition status, especially for older petitions.

While maybe there might be some justification for not announcing every petition that is filed, if you think that way at least reveal a histogram of the ages of petitions that have not been either put out for comment or dismissed.

Certainly the 8th Floor should be kept informed about petitions that have not been acted on…

  16. Reallocate 7000 - 7100 kHz for CW Only

CW mode and RTTY mode cannot co-exist in same band segment. Allocate 7000 - 7100 kHz to only the CW mode. Allocate 7100 - 7200 kHz to RTTY and other digital modes.

  18. Daily Emails of Submitted Comments

Allow me to sign up for an email containing the headers (docket, commenter, link to full comment) of comments in a docket. I should be able to choose if this is a daily email or a series of real time alerts, and to combine multiple dockets in one email. The FCC should set up a similar system for all Federal Register entries.

  19. Provide user-friendly public information regarding cell phone antennas

The information online regarding cell phone antennas is confusing and circular. Streamline so that the public can find information about cell phone antennas, RF, and federal regulations - all in one place that is easy to understand.

  20. Provide online cell phone antenna mapping

Provide information so that citizens can enter their address and see what cell phone antennas are within X amount of miles, similar to the DTV antenna mapper.
