  4. charge reasonable fees to TV stations for use of the public airwaves. The income can fund campaigns.

Raising money for election campaigns takes too much time for legislators, and the high cost of TV ads is the major problem. We own the airwaves; now we let TV stations use them for free. Let's charge reasonable fees (not taxes) to raise money for campaign finance reform

  6. FCC Must set Rules in Involving the Social Media Networks

By creating such rules, you can police those mongers that hoovers across these social media networks.

  7. To activate process to stop

Tighten the level of responsibility for telecommunication companies and increase governmental control in service misrepresentation, deliberately wrong billing and predatory actions in process of dispute mentioned above circumstance. To limit telecommunication companies to disconnect service and legislate an immediate release all customers assigned telephone numbers to other provider before investigation will be completed and justified.

  12. I have DTV and want to know why I STILL pay $5.00 a month since 2003 for a leased receiver?

I think these companies are a complete rip-off. I sign a 2 year agreement, so That 5.00 leased receiver fee should be off my account. I technically own it. So my question FCC is when do I stop paying for a "leased" receiver. I mean It's been 7 years already.

  16. Why are we only talking about broadband? We should be focusing more attention on mobile

Mobile is where the most innovation is taking place. It is much more cost efficient than broadband alone. I agree everyone should have access to high speed bandwidth, but more than ever this should be focused on the mobile platform.

In order to help bridge the digital divide we need to be looking at how to provide better more reliable and cost efficient mobile service to people. The cost of a mobile device is much less than a laptop. It is portable and serivce is cheaper than trying to pay for a land line, cable TV and broadband.

    By only…

  17. With so many empty channels, why don't you produce some 'PSA' type shows to help public get on air?

With so many empty channels, why don't you produce some 'PSA' type shows to help public get on air? There are many 'non-political' groups that would love to get some air time. This could promote grass roots ownership of small local interest operations to counteract the lock that mainstream outfits have on the PUBLIC airways. Thanks

  18. EDI VAN system Interconnect access denials, industry consolidation

Is the FCC aware that GXS corp is denying interconnections to certain competitive EDI message systems, and these are monopolies after mergers - and are creating electronic transaction systems that denying routing access to innovators? How does a disadvantaged EDI Network attain standing at the FCC to redress this issue?
