Angela, when Dish did this in our area, I immediately emailed them and pitched a fit. I told them that when we signed up for service with Dish, we specifically asked for FX and NatGeo (not sports, etc.) - and that if they weren't going to deliver those channels, they were breaching our original agreement. I asked to be notified within two weeks if they couldn't remedy the situation, so I could switch to another provider. Guess what? A lot of people must've been ticked off, too, because we had both channels back on our schedule in just a few days. You might give it a try. Good luck!
I don't mean to sound like a you now what with this comment. I'm just wondering how you ever found this forum to begin with, if this is the appropriate place for this comment at all and just how much of this is even something the FCC can fix. This is an issue between Dish Network and Nat Geo and FX. I don't know exactly what's going on but this is something that the channels and the provider have to hammer out. It's usually a case that one wants more money than the other is willing to pay. If you don't like it cancel Dish Network and go with another provider and be sure to let them know why you're canceling. Or contact Nat Geo and FX and complain to them to about the problem. A forum on how social networks can get the public more involved with the FCC isn't going to do much. Sorry.
stand up for the people not big buisiness!!!!! They it why we are in these messes!!!!!!
