Fight against Verizon overcharge
Verizon is the evilest company I have ever dealt with. Over the years when I was Verizon customer, I had been overcharged many times. Recently I was using the Verizon triple play. At first,I Signed on the price as the advertised on TV. But when the time for installation, I was told that I did not have any other with Verizon, although I was even given a "confirmation number"!Then I had to signed with Verizon again with higher price because I need service. But When I got my first bill 2 weeks later. It was a shock! It charged me $199 and I was told that it was pre-rated. I canceled my service with Verizon in September when I got that bill and paid a full$199 and was told that I would get a refund later on. Not only I did not get any refund, Verizon keeps charging me monthly phone bill while I have already returned Verizon's equipment and have been using another company's service. Every time I called Verizon, I was told that I would get refund, yet Verizon charges me again and again for the service I am using!
Verizon has a history overcharges customers, misleading customers and promises one thing yet charges much more than what they have promised. At least from my experiences as Verizon customer over the years.
I suggest that we boycott Verizon and I hope that FCC makes better regulations to protect average Americans from being squeezed dry by big company like Verizon!

Verizon is the worst business I've ever worked with. I had been overwhelmed several times over the years when I was a Verizon client. I used the Verizon triple play recently. At first, as advertised on TV, I signed on the contract. Yet when the deployment time came I was told I had no other with Verizon, even though I was given a "confirmation number"! Then I had to sign up again with Verizon at a higher price because I need service. But, 2 weeks later, when I got my first bill.

I recently received an end of service bill from verizon when I switched to ATT. I only had 8 days on that months service. I expected maybe an 80 dollor bill and was shocked to see they wanted 335.73. When I called after finally reaching someone was told that they were still billing me for a hotspot which was turned off on dec 4 the day i switched to ATT. He promised a resolution. about 10 days later I received a dunning notice demanding 355.73. I called back and now i have been informed I was a month behind which I know is false. I was paid up untill Nov. 26th I should have beern billed 8 days. I got shuffled around to 5 different people none whom had talked to the one previously and I had to start over. I asked for a detailed bill so they transfered me again only to be told they couldnt do that. I have no access to my bill as my acct there is closed. Finally frustrated beyond measure and 2 hours on this one phone call i just said see you in court. between myself and my wife we have wasted 10 hours of our life we'll never get back. any suggestions out there. Lawyers cost alot more than 335.73 but damm if I want to just roll over and pay them for something they dont deserve.

I was suppose to be on plan for $56.00 a month.....they charged me over $100.00 a month. They said because of using too much data??? I talked with a supervisor said apparently I was on the wrong plan and if I paid they 200.?? for 2 MONTHS she would put me on the right plan....but...I still owed 200.?? she said she would talk to her supervisor..who would call me because it was obvious misunderstanding!?? I never heard from anyone but I did get a bill for over $700. after 4 months!!!! I talked to different supervisor, he said it's a legitimate bill, I told him that the OTHER supervisor said that SOMEONE was going to call me. He said we don't do that.I said I even wrote down everything she told me. He said I see that she did say that;but we still don't do that. So since I am on disability income there was no way I would be able to pay that OUTRAGES AMOUNT,they added early disconnect fees. Totaling OVER $900.00 )ONLY 4 MONTHES (SERVICE)

After several months of complaints and many hours on the phone with customer service, my wireless internet device was found to be faulty ( same issue as the original unit warrantied 2 wks after original purchase ). Verizon claimed that the data charges were "data used" charges. In other words the 104 gigs of data that I was billed had been for data that had been streamed from my MIFI device in one billing cycle(password protected& no other devices on my bill to use data). A local computer technician claimed this amount of data is virtually impossible for my situation. Despite my calls Verizon they refused to adjust my data plan or bill. So now I'm stuck with a bill that could pay for a modest trip to the Caribbean!! HELP....

My experience is typical of the ones posted here. I signed two year contract for two phones for $185/mo. When I got the Bill Iwas shocked. I called and was told my daughter was using her phone too much. Couldn't wait for my contract expire. Verizon recommended a better deal with more minutes for $165/ mo. I believed them and signed for two more years. The bill was no better so they recommended that I drop my daughter which I agreed to. I asked about their competitors adds of unlimited stuff. They said they have that too for $60/mo. I said I'll take it but still was billed redidicuously high. I then called to say no matter what I'm dropping Verizon because it's like a credit card that must be shredded. I was turned into collections for over $600. Next I get a call from a collection agency saying it is well over $1000!. I asked for an itemized bill to see how it could have gotten this high. They told me sure and that a payment plan could be worked out. Then I get a letter from Verizon saying it now down to $720 and they could only take payment in full. What happened to the itemized bill?

TRUE ! ...... I can't believe they stay in business when they shout be in jail. They deliberately overcharge and give the endless runaround until you just give up. But they'll never give up on collecting. Boycott Verizon !

Verizon is charging me for 2 phones that have been suspended and not used!!!!! I cannot comprehend how all of a sudden I have a 535 dollar bill in a flash.. They are so wrong and hide mistakes they have made.. I am not responsible for that money. They are doing me wrong so cbadly and I'm positive I'm not the only one out there. I am so upset how they are taking advantage of me. I have been a long term customer and they treat me like this.. what do I do?? Like I said, I'm sure I am not the only one.. Help.. Please -

Verizon and FCC is no different then North Korea, Verizon is a communist organization. My Bell was never disolved , it only changed names to AT&T and Verizon. In soviet union people connected by wire received daily propaganda and a "*****". Not different then Verizon and AT&T.
