We live in The United States of America. This means every single citizen of this *free country, has a say. But, there is no say when the government regulates a majority of things we do; how much soda we drink, what we can or cannot watch, etc.

It is very simple, the people who own a television should choose what they want to watch rather than being told they cannot watch something due to someone else not agreeing with it. Or that they have to wait till 10:00 PM to watch a show that says a word or words that would kill children if heard(sarcasm)...even though they will hear it in worse context in the real world.

If this was the case, it would prove there is no freedom. If a majority dislike something, it will be removed or regulated. Wasted money on regulating what people can and cannot watch due to someone else's opinion...is not freedom.

You are offended by a word? But you tell your children that words are only words. Telling your children to be strong minded, when you are only creating simple, one tracked minded children. If the majority voted, television would not be what it is today. It is regulated, but if the majority(Religious folk) got their way we would be watching...well I am not sure...depends on what the Bible/Koran/Etc agree with.

The United States of America is not a Christian country. It is a country full of all people, black, white, Muslim, Christian...but in the end we are people with our own opinions and have the right to choose what we watch/eat/do.

So stop requesting for regulations as all you are doing is digging a deeper hole, ruining the potential of the USA. You live your life and I will live mine. I am not going into your house and telling you what to watch, so stop telling me what I can and cannot watch.
