My idea is...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. Excel files

Why aren't there excel versions of this data?

    • Offer the License View data in sets

The current Xcel file is too large to open fully in Xcel. Why not offer the data in sets like public safety, business, etc. that fit in the capacity of an Xcel sheet?

      • Bittorrent, Metalink, NNTP and cryptographicly signed data.

I could care less about the format the data is in, as long as I can access it. I want there to be higher availability of reliable data. The listed protocols are open standards which help that goal, and minimize the bandwidth cost to/from the US Government run servers. Using a cryptographic signature with an authoritative time stamp notary (like NIST or USPS). Minimal burden, minimal shared taxpayer cost, maximal distribution of valid data... You know, how the internet is supposed to be.
