Influence Multi-cultral ethics: by giving access to other Nation's television stations to the public
Disney, BBC, MTV have television stations all over the world. Airing those stations would allow a sense of Multi-culture.
America is full of different ethnicities, diverse or not giving additional content could welcome those different ethnicities and also teach multi-culture.
The initial reason of the idea -- Connecting the entire world... Even if it is just Public news channels on the other side of the planet -- people can see basic problems other Nations have.
