Please restrict the use of profanity and bad language in TV commercials.
As parents we work very hard to monitor what TV shows our kids are watching. However, it seems many TV commercials are starting to contain more and more bad language.

PLEASE Pull the Sprint commercial featuring a ZOMBIE and the Kellog's comm. w/VAMPIRES!!!!!!
Commercials such as the Sprint commercial featuring a zombie and the Kellog's commercial with the vampires needs to be pulled!!!! My 4 year old and my father have a Sunday night ritual where they watch America's Funniest Videos together. This program airs at 7:30 P.M.!!!! During this time, the Sprint commercial came on, not once but 2 TIMES!!!! My son now has nightmares due to both the aforementioned commercials!!! Thanks Sprint and Kellog's!!! We are extremely diligent about censoring what our child watches. Do we now need to restrict Family Programming as well? These companies actions are disgraceful and irresponsible!!!!!…

Include a Sexism Rating in the TV-rating
By creating and including qualifiers for sexism shown in television programs, we can inform and warn viewers of the harm that sexism does to women in our society. This is something not taken into consideration in our current rating system and needs to be addressed . Poor portrayals of women lead to a decrease in self esteem of our nations young women and girls.

Please show age-appropriate commercials during Children's programming times.
My children were watching the movie "Imagine That" this afternoon and then commercial/preview came on for a horror show called "The Originals". The commercial showed all types of blood, torture and gore that was completely inappropriate for children. I would never let my children watch that show, nor is that show geared toward children. So why would a Program Director air that preview during a movie that is definitely not the demographic for that particular show? I am asking the Programming Directors to take a hint from the Motion Picture Association and only show previews that are appropriate for the…

Stop pharmaceuticals companies from advertising their drugs on television. That is a doctor's job.
I feel as though advertising these drugs on television is very similar to advertising cigarettes. With half of any commercial listing side effect after side effect and informing the public that "theres more than can be done for your depression" we are nurturing a society that praises pills instead of actual healing treatments. Pills can be very dangerous as these commercials inform, but why let a thirty second sound byte be information to anyone's health and well being. Beyond those points my children don't need to know about ED or "loss of intimacy" and frankly I dont want to hear…

The Universal V-Chip: To Help Parents Protect their Children from Adult Media Content
According to the FCC website, the V-Chip was implemented in televisions in 2000 to allow parents to block television shows based on their TV rating according to the TV Parental Guidelines. This helps parents protect their children from adult content on television. There is currently no way to monitor children's media usage across a variety of devices, from smartphones, tablets, computers and more. A universal V-Chip system could allow parents to program all of the electronic devices that their children have access to. This sort of system would be an easy way to protect young children from adult media content.

Higher standards for commercials especially with regards to violence
We have never let our children watch TV, even football games and the so-called "Discover" channel, unsupervised for the simple reason that they will be subject to gratuitous images of violence for movies and shows. Personally if I had a choice I'd rather my kids see beautiful images of the human body than dead bodies and guns. Ultimately parent's need to stop trusting profit based companies from determining what their family is watching and take responsibility to either turn off the TV or watch with your family and skip commercials. If you don't have the time to do that then…

Do not relax the current profanity and nudity rules.
I heard that the FCC is considering relaxing rules on nudity and profanity. Tis is so disappointing. There's nothing more uncomfortable than watching tv with your parents or children and suddenly a naked person appears on screen or harsh profanity flies out of someone's mouth. If these rules are relaxed, I have a feeling that family tv night will become a thing of the past. What purpose would it serve other than to corrupt our kids at an even earlier age? Isn't media already blamed for enough tragedies? It doesn't make sense to make the situation worse.

Gays kissing. I wish them no harm, but I do not want to see this. They need to make it plain upfront if a show or a series will have it.
Advertise upfront if a new show or tv series will be showing same *** couple kissing. I can turn it off once it is seen. I want to know up from, before buying a book, or watching a show that it will contain such displays.

Do not relax the current rules governing profanity & nudity on prime time television!
We urge our elected officials to not relax the current rules governing adult content on prime time television. It is already to lax. We should be a country that sets an example of decent morals.

Pull the Plug!
Television teaches our children how to live and I don't appreciate how it has corrupted our society. We don't watch it. I wonder who is behind increasing the profanity, violence and ****** content? Is it the mission of the FCC to destroy morality in America, or that of another country's government all together?

Follow the Rules
Those of us who have an FCC Licenses (in my case a Amateur Radio License) we have to follow certain rules. One of these is no foul or obscene language (97.113[4]). Objectionable topics and language is also discouraged. Broadcast Radio and TV are also restricted in having things that are objectionable. Just because times have changed, and we are perhaps not as offended by certain things, words and topics, does not mean that they are still not objectionable. In some cases things are already being pushed to the limit, but there is a line that should not be crossed. While…

If the FCC relaxes rules....
We will have to unplug all of our tvs. There won't be any way to protect our children from commercials or inappropriate stuff from showing up on television shows that currently are okay for them to watch.

Be strong, Protect your children, And go to church.
I'm young, but I can see how bad the world has gotten. We need to stick together and protect the sanctity of the family and morals that should come naturally to it. If that means doing everything we can to regulate the Television and what is put on it, then that's what we'll do. Especially if it protects children in their developing years.

thanks to being able to block certain rated shows i am able to monitor what my children watch. please do not censor nudity/cursing on tv. bring more shows that are children rated, instead of trying to make everyone happy by making one show acceptable for children/teens/adults instead make shows for children/teens/adults separate. please make shows that are oriented for children. more shows oriented for teens. and shows that are oriented for adults. this way i can easily block the adult shows from the children. and everyone is happy to be able to turn to tv to be entertainedby enjoying our…
