My idea is...

  1. We need a new rating

    Some shows have evil endings and you can get suckered into watching them. I think we need a rating to warn us to be prepared for disappointment and the ending is very disturbing.

  2. stop putting it on tv!!!!

    10 years ago none of this stuff was on tv. on a few kid shows they show 13 year olds kissing! on other shows there is swearing, violence, and other disgusting things. skechers shows a girl dancing in her underwear and a small shirt, for a shoe commercial! how inappropriate! yes we can prevent them from some bad shows but we can't stop commercials. some shows say they are for kids but they look like they are actually for adults. stop the media madness. i will fight this till it stops!!!!!

  3. Allow the ability to block certain programs from any/all stations

    I like the choice of blocking certain ratings that are appropriate but where's the choice to block certain programs like Family Guy and South Park. The show up like cartoons on various channels and I don't want to block the channel(s) as it blocks ALL programs and that's not necessary. Just certain ones. Also, I feel commercials like Victoria Secret should only be shown after 9:00 pm or later as they're intended for who.. Adults and way too revealing for young impressionable boys.

  4. I trust my children to exercise discretion

    If I couldn't trust them not to watch inappropriate TV, then I wouldn't let them view it in the first place!

  5. Go back to having Morals and standards!

    All of the teenage show are so sexually over the top. secret life of the american teenager, isnt appropriate for any teenager.Why are we so lacking in morals and standards. yes I monintor to boardering smothering my child she doesnt watch any of these shows, but even going to school is a horrible nightmare they all think *** is a game along with MTV and their horrible shows Skins, teen Mom. the music videos of half ***** people since when did this become exceptable for TV.   8. Only let them watch shows that are dvr recorded so they can skip commercials

    I feel that even if the show is age appropriate, the commercials often are not. So we don't let them watch commercials and make them record anything they want to watch. Then when they view it, they must skip through them or I will just delete the show and they don't get to finish it.

  10. Be a parent and stop relying on the government to be the parents for us.

    I mean, seriously, are parents these days so lazy that they can't monitor what their kids watch on TV? Get off of facebook and put the phone down...BE PARENTS. Stop relying on the government to do your job. Sure, we need some regulation, but in reality, it's our homes and we'll watch what we want

  11. use a DVR and only record shows that are appropriate. Use parental controls to set limits on its use
