Apparently "reality TV" is far from reflecting reality. Was watch The Batchelor and the host opened a door and pointed out the several people sitting in the room were the shows writers. Also, the recent suicide by the star of a reality show who was terrified of the way he was going to be portrayed in the coming year obviously was directing his comments towards the show writers and director. If a reality show has writers who influence the broadcast content, then a disclaimer should be posted before each show airs so that less informed viewers don't believe that the show reflects reality. A lot of young adults and children watch these shows and they don't have the life experience or knowledge to realize that what may be aired is promoting questionable or unacceptable behavior.
