Stop using Gods name in Vain on TV
I'm so shocked by what is coming out now on programs my daughter is watching. No, respect-talk anyway you want to your parents.

I can't stand to heard God name in vain. It seems like if the show allows it. It is used constantly

I just can't understand how the morning news on channel 10 in Philly could show an outtake from SNL with "GD" included. Like Lor says below, the FCC's lopsided control of what is broadcast needs to be addressed.
Thank you Lor, this is a very nice comment.

Meanwhile, a simple word like **** or **** that has pretty much every day usage for a lot of people is beeped over, like it's so offensive. If everyone is supposed to be so PC, why is it not politically correct to respect the Christian. This comes from myself, somebody that would never think to drop the K bomb around a Jew, or attack Muslim people or other faiths using vulgar language when referring to their Gods. This should not be allowed. Some people just take freedom of speech too far. This is what happens when you have people w/o a soul- idiots at the helm.

I was watching “the Magicians” which I found intriguing & interesting. The last 2 seasons was hard to watch as every sentence the dean of the school used the GD word. My ears burned it was so often. Just terrible

I had watched Saturday Night Live since the beginning and I had always enjoyed it and thought it was very funny. Then a couple of years ago they started taking God’s name in vain and I no longer enjoyed it nor found it funny!

Researching when the use of the LORD name in vain was first allowed. Any suggestions? Signed Hallowed be thy name!

They will air these words because that's what is in they're hearts to do, a bad well has no good water. Unless they choose to put one knee down on earth to Jesus they will air *****'s plan

CBS just showed Raiders of the Lost Ark last night from 8-10pm. I was completely shocked that they did not bleep out Marion telling Indy, I'm your GD partner!! It wasn't even 9pm yet. Why not say f***ing? This is atrocious! TV used to bleep out "God" but not anymore! I'm glad I'm not the only one bothered by this. Like someone here said earlier, everything is so PC but NOT for Christians. We must scare people the most, why is that I wonder?? (Rhetorical question.)

I hardly ever watch NBC programming. Tonight my tv was on NBC while I was on the computer. Chicago Med was on and as clear as day, they use the Lord's name in vain. I was shocked to realize this is allowed on antennae tv during prime programming hours. My tv will now go back to a more wholesome station, like MeTV. Completely unacceptable.

Using the Lord's name in vain makes television shows less appealing. I'm not sure why networks need to use this horrible language. It's ridiculous and it needs to stop!

Why does NBC have "Gd" said in so many of their programs?? SNL, Law & Order, and Manifest to name a few... This is ridiculous!! It's the most offensive cursing there is.. Any cuss word mixed with the Lord's name is beyond wrong and beyond called for!!!

It is so upsetting to continue to hear people use God's name in vain, and it is used in so many advertisement s for shows. Why can't they have a better use of English and use words that aren't so offensive?

Yes I too have stopped watching several shows that take God's name in vain. Why must this continue? You are correct this is only going to get worse. I would really like to know how to fight this.

How can the FCC allow the use of God's name in vain? They bleep out other words, but they allow "GD" to be said. How can this be allowed? You can at least bleep out God since you want to erase him out of every other public place.

Sitting here watching T.V. and they keep showing a preview for some movie coming to the theaters. This creature, or whatever it is, says something like "it's about ______ _______ time" and gets up out of his chair. I was appalled that they allow it!! You can't watch anything on television anymore without hearing the Lord's name being taken in vain. I AM SO SICK OF IT!!!
