Do not relax the current profanity and nudity rules.
I heard that the FCC is considering relaxing rules on nudity and profanity. Tis is so disappointing. There's nothing more uncomfortable than watching tv with your parents or children and suddenly a naked person appears on screen or harsh profanity flies out of someone's mouth. If these rules are relaxed, I have a feeling that family tv night will become a thing of the past. What purpose would it serve other than to corrupt our kids at an even earlier age? Isn't media already blamed for enough tragedies? It doesn't make sense to make the situation worse.

Nakedness should make no one feel uncomfortable. My dog doesn't seem to care, nor do the birds in the sky. Try going to an art museum, then you'll see some classical nakedness. Or do you want to put pants on David?

I agree totally. Television has turned into nothing but trash and the FCC is letting the networks do it. Don't FCC employees have kids? Are they not affected by what comes on tv? The FCC needs to tighten rules, not relax them. Who's controlling the FCC? Are they getting bribes for helping to destroy the modicum of decency that struggles to prevail?

Right! And I'd like to see far less violence and gore as well. All this garbage does is desensitize youth and promote immorality. Try some censorship! Promote wholesome entertainment, you know, the kind for functional people.

There isn't nearly ENOUGH nudity on TV these days- in fact I'd say there's zero nudity. In the 80s, stations used to be able to show uncensored movies, but they stopped because of complaints from all the prudes. Go to Europe and see what THEY allow on TV!

So it's okay to show mass murders feeding body parts to kidnapped women during their torture sessions(Criminal Minds(9/25/13), but in no way should we allow a boob shot during a normal relationship..
Makes perfect sense to me.
