PLEASE Pull the Sprint commercial featuring a ZOMBIE and the Kellog's comm. w/VAMPIRES!!!!!!
Commercials such as the Sprint commercial featuring a zombie and the Kellog's commercial with the vampires needs to be pulled!!!! My 4 year old and my father have a Sunday night ritual where they watch America's Funniest Videos together. This program airs at 7:30 P.M.!!!! During this time, the Sprint commercial came on, not once but 2 TIMES!!!! My son now has nightmares due to both the aforementioned commercials!!! Thanks Sprint and Kellog's!!! We are extremely diligent about censoring what our child watches. Do we now need to restrict Family Programming as well? These companies actions are disgraceful and irresponsible!!!!! I am desperately trying to get in touch with the correct person in power of things such as this but can't figure out who to contact. I contacted both Sprint and Kellog's. I never received a response from Sprint and Kellog's responded with a scripted load of "lip service". Also, with halloween coming, I'm preparing for the inappropriately frightening bus stop posters for amusement park "fright nights" and the like. What is wrong with these companies?! And how is one mom to get these frightening images out of view of children? My little boy asks me several times a week "mommy, how do I get the scary images out of my head? Can you make them stop?". He wakes up multiple times a week sobbing and screaming thanks to these irresponsible companies!!! Does anyone know who I can contact who may actually listen to me and get these images out of children's view? This needs to change..... and NOW!!!

Are you kidding me!! this is the world we have made so either go live deep in the woods and home school you kid, or talk to him and just reassure him not of its real, hiding your child from how the works as sad as it seems sometimes isn't doing them any favors. and by the way kellogg or sprint doesn't care one bit on what you think.. good luck

WHOA..the govt shouldn't be in the business of regulating TV content. But the Sprint Framily ads do suck mightily.

Their "Framily" commercial is even worse. I'm sorry about your child but Sprint does have awful commercials.

I think you should relax... if your kid has such an irrational fear of monsters..its likely because you sheltered them so much they don't know the difference between a tv monster and real life monsters... btw they look like people because they are...

WHAT?!
Really Laura??? Can't you educate your child around T.V.? If you can't, then maybe your child shouldn't be watching T.V. just sayin' and this commercial is the bomb! -

Your child is going to grow up with very real psychological problems bc he is being raised by an over protective parent. Censoring something bc of it's language is one thing, but commercials and posters? I'll bet that the reason he's so scared to begin with is bc you've sheltered him so much already that a 30 sec commercial of a zombie buying a phone is more than he's ever had to deal with, which is why he is having trouble getting over it. Parenting is hard and no one is perfect, but sheltering your child will result in resentment, and blaming society and the media for your failures will lead to irresponsibility.

Laura,
I completely agree with u that those commercials should at least b played at a later hour. I work real hard to keep my 2yr old from seeing certain things like that also. Don't listen to the jerks on here. Not everyone is into letting their child think demonic influenced images r ok! -

The real issue here is that your kid is a *****. And I know that word is going to be censored, so I'll clarify: Rob Ford has plenty of your kid to eat at home.

There are probably more people that like this commecial than not. It's Halloween time and there are certainly more scary things that children see on tv or at the local malls. For example... The news, two gay men kissing, car accidents, politicians, teenagers in full goth dress, tv shows that parents have now real clue that their children are watching. There are a lot of things in Disney that should be flagged as inappropriate also. However there are parents that go to extremes to shield their kids from things and then there is the opposite extreme of encouraging kids in inappropriate viewing. Sprint Zombie is not too bad considering some of the adds for some of the movies that are shown. Ie, the conjuring. So my advice... Chill. You explain to children how makeup is used to change normal looking people into scary looking people. All kinds of videos on you tube to help demonstrate.

Seriously? Your little angel is scared by this commercial? In my youth I witnessed the dumbing down of America. Now I'm witnessing an age where our children our growing up afraid of everything. Cowardice is the order of the day. My son is two years old, very well mannered, polite, tidy, and not a terror @ all. He also enjoys guns, peanut butter, and is anything but afraid of zombies and knows that monsters are not real. People these days are raising there children to be little imbocilic cowards and forcing there will upon parents like me and our children. My son's favorite toys are his imaginext castle set, which among other things has dragons, ogres, and even a skeleton warrior that rides a winged skeleton horse.....all toys produced for his age range. SOOOO How bout you teach your child about these things, maybe they won't be such cowards.

It was funny the first time, humorous the second. The 700th time it is annoying. Move on.

Do your children really need TV? I have grandchildren that aren't exposed because my daughter cares enough about it to have made that decision. They do watch purchased children's programming. To help your children now, get some makeup and a wig and apply it to yourself while they watch- teach them about what is real and what is not. Provide dress up items and let them play in front of a mirror.

Your use of hundreds of unnecessary exclamation points needs to be pulled. How about using it for a teaching monment? Its FUNNY. Use the moment to teach your kid it is make-believe.
