I called Verizon today and was told by Megan and Luis employee ID# 9104 that my early termination fees on our phones are at $260 now, 9 months into our contract. They began at $350 and dropped $10 each month. However, when I read the letter from Kathleen Grillo, Verizon's VP of regulatory affairs, she indicated that only Verizon's "Advanced Devices" had an ETF of $350. Any phone not on the Advanced Device list is only supposed to have an ETF of $175, dropping by $5 each month. When I check the list of Advanced Devices, none of our phones are on the list attached to the letter, nor are they on the current list at the Verizon website. I was lied to about my ETF fees or Verizon is in violation of the information they provided to the FCC about their ETF and how these fees apply to their various devices. Please investigate Verizon as they have reverted back to pre FCC investigation of this issue.
