I am not pro-profanity (until now i have never heard that phrase before), yes TV shows tend to have excessive foul language, but you don't have to watch it. There are channels where you will never hear those words, so go to those if it really and for truly bothers you, or just turn it off. The TV is the epitome of slothfulness. And I have nothing against Christians, Muslims, Mormans, or any religion, if anything I have respect for them being able to do something I can't. You all must be strong to follow something only on the basis of trust and blind devotion. I have issues with people who are religious and push it on other people who either don't want it or don't care.
I was not raised to be religious, and so i became atheist. I still help my community, donate my change to the child donations, help people, hold doors open, work, and do my best to be a model citizen. I do this because it is the right thing to do, not because God or Jesus expects it.
But anyway I do digress, that is an argument for another forum, my point is, unless the kids shows start saying the s word and the b word, then parents shouldn't care because they should raise their kids to watch the RIGHT shows. And teach them why these words are bad and shouldn't be used. Just like how you teach kids why you don't say gods name in vain, as I am sure for many religious you may as well be swearing with that, even though i hear so many Christians and Catholics use his name in vain.

So, you want them to censor shows based on YOUR religious beliefs? Welcome to the dark ages again.

Most channels with those contents shouldn't be viewed by your children any way. If it really bothers you that much change the channel to nick, disney, Cartoon network, PBS, or ABC family. You have options. If you wanna watch something with profanity and violence kick the kids out of the room. Be a good parent.

Yeah, your parents aught to have taught her about ***, not Katy. Tell your parents to learn how to educate your sibling, and tell them that your sister id what she did, FCC can't change what Katy Perry said in a song or what ever.

If you don't want them to view it then watch it away from them. Parenting 101. PS NFL is a bunch of guys TACKLING each other. Not much of a difference, body vs fists and kicking.
Do think that the FCC ahs to do with what your 'family channels' play? Your 'family channel' networks approved of this commercial. Do keep in mind that the FCC doesn't just drop the advertisements in there, the actual network who owns it (ie ACB, NIck, Cartoon Network, Fox, CBN CNN) have to let it air. You know you could just restrict you kids to KIDS channels. Just saying.
